Positive: Our host Ignasi was super friendly and made the check-in procedure super simple. The apartment is in a great location with magnificent views. It was so well fitted out especially the kitchen and the bed was very good. I was very comfortable for the entire stay.
Negative: Unfortunately, Malpica is very seasonal and when we were there (second week of October) it seemed like all the restaurants had shut for the winter. It's not a criticism of Ignasi or his apartment; they were fantastic. It's just what happens sometimes when you choose places off the beaten track. It's a good thing there was a good supermarket on the ground floor of the same building and that we had such a good kitchen to cook in. But a lovely town to visit all the same.
